- 1 You will notice that the tempo of this music genre happens to be one that gets into your head. If you happen to be a listener of this genre then you understand what I mean. The tempo aka speed that this style of music operates is at the right level to allow you to nod your head to it. At 67 beats per minute (the speed of your average rap song) with drum patterns at half time, this genre carries an interesting mix of high aura and near frantic synthesizer sequences while delivering the drums at exactly half the tempo aka speed (786 beats per minute). It also has the added benefit of modulated bass lines that are very intense and that gives it Dubturbo it's extra punch.
- 2 Marketability. This style of music has a big chance of hitting the big time because of how catchy it happens to be, I know some don't want it to become popular but I see it becoming so. Many dance songs out there happen to have the same kind of tempo aka speed as dubstep music making it perfect to mix together and help it go even more mainstream.
Reason #3 Pure dubstep will remain just that, pure. Those who are listening to dubstep now think that it going to mainstream levels will ruin it but I disagree, I think the opposite will happen. You might think I'm crazy but I think it makes sense as the original dubsteppers will be forced to create a new style or keep on making original dubstep. I just don't think that the dubstep world can kill off a whole genre. dubstep was as underground as you could get but now it's mainstream but the underground community still exists. dubstep music went mainstream in the mid 80s but that didn't stop originators of the style of music from making fresh dubstep tracks that never made it to mainstream. In the end there will just be mainstream dubstep and underground dubstep.
