Vinyl banner design is about as easy as it gets for the non-professional graphic designer. Usually speaking, a vinyl banner is straightforward to design, and anybody with a little bit of graphic design expertise can do it.
Even if you have no expertise, your supplier can point you in the right path, or even design your banner for a modest charge.
Here are some things to watch for when designing a vinyl banner...
1. Use a computer software that handles CMYK full color output. There are at least 3 kinds of software program you can use:
- Image editors like Photoshop, PhotoPaint, or PhotoImpact
- Page Layout programs like Quarkxpress, Pagemaker, or InDesign
- Illustration programs like Illustrator or CorelDraw
Usually speaking, programs that are created for shoppers or basic workplace applications are not recommended: e.g., Word, Wordperfect, Publisher, Excel, and so on. 2. The greatest designs contain two or three fundamental components. Normally, these will be a photograph, a big business website builder headline, and an "identifier" such as your organization name, logo, or phone number.
